About the Challenge
Following up on a response to a Walker Engineered Products advertisement, the Walker sales person soon realized that the individuals he was talking with had a great idea for company, a dream for a new product, and the perfect yoghurt formula to make the dairy product succeed. It was also evident that the startup company would need a lot of continuing education about stainless steel processing tanks to get it right.

For two years the dialog with Walker Engineered Products designers and engineers continued. With the yoghurt media in mind Walker developed a system built to 3-A Sanitary Standards for storing, mixing, blending and processing, including refrigerated tanks, jacketed heat transfer vessels and CIP agitators.
The results of our collaboration were such a success that the company has continued to purchase dozens of systems from Walker Engineered Products. The startup company is well established and has become an exclusive yoghurt supplier for some very high-end stores around the nation. The word of mouth recommendations from the company about the exceptional quality and durability of Walker stainless steel fabrication has lead many more customers to Walker Engineered Products over the years. As for the yoghurt formula – it still tastes phenomenal.
